Itho ventilation, now part of Itho UK Ltd, was launched in April 2008, as a direct result of the ever tightening building regulations that are being witnessed here in the UK. Also part of Itho B.V., the Netherlands based manufacturer and supplier of climate solutions, the company is supported by a team of highly experienced personnel with a keen understanding of ventilation. The team are committed to providing the UK market with superior ventilation systems.
Itho, whose corporate logo ‘Climate for Life’ reflects their passion for sustainability, employs over 170 people worldwide, and are determined to put both the client and the environment first. The company’s personal touch, together with the professional approach, brought the international company the status of market leader, with a market share far over 30% in ventilation systems.
Advance - the new compact MVHR from Itho is meticulously tuned, high performance and with a Specific Fan Power (SFP) as low as 0.37 w/l/s, easily outruns all of its competitors. Ideal for 2/3 bedroom apartments and houses, the SAP Appendix Q Eligible Advance is EST Best Practice Compliant for up to a Kitchen plus 4 wet rooms. Developers can now also enjoy the benefits of energy efficient ventilation systems with the SAP Appendix Q Eligible HRU ECO 4. This is a whole house ventilation system that is one of the most energy efficient systems on the market and offers a heat recovery of up to 91%.
Having invested enormously in energy saving technologies, Itho continue to research new ways to improve its products in order to remain one step ahead of Government legislation. Providing ventilation systems both with and without heat recovery, Itho’s aim is to provide fresh and comfortable living / working conditions by eliminating unwelcome odours and putting a stop to condensation and its nasty after effects.
In order to reach the targets set by the Government for 2016 whereby all new homes built are to be zero carbon, every house in the UK will soon require some form of mechanical intervention.
Itho will support you through the entire process. From design to installation and commission to after-sales advice and onsite support, Itho cares about its products and will endeavour to ensure you receive the best installed results from your chosen system. Itho offer training at the fully equipped training facility. Held weekly, this training day incorporates three hour long CPD’s, allowing hands-on experience of Itho’s ventilation products. Vision
The ultimate challenge in climate management is the realisation of a comfortable, healthy indoor climate that doesn’t use energy. This will have to be solved by reducing energy demands and having very efficient equipment and sustainably created energy. In the long run, only electricity can be generated in a sustainable way, which is why, in Itho’s point of view, we are moving towards an ‘all electric society’. Itho is fascinated by this new vision of society and with solving the apparent contradiction between comfort and energy consumption.
