Berkshire recycling facility planned

Veolia Environmental Services has appointed Vinci Construction to build a £30m waste recycling facility in Berkshire.

The waste management complex to be built on a brownfield site at Padworth Sidings will process around 80,000 tonnes of household waste per year, serving the district’s 64,000 households.

Completion is expected by autumn 2011.
